One of the better local metal tapes I have come across in a long time. Ahimsa is from somewhere in WV, not entirely sure where though. This tape was released in 1997 and as far as I can tell is their only recordings available. Loud, fast and raw, would be the best way to describe this cassette. Any other information on the band would be welcome.Track List:

These guys were out of Wheeling WV around the years 1994-1998. The Ohio Valley used to have an killer Punk/Hardcore scene, and purely DIY when it came to shows...
That is not the only tape. They had a couple more releases.
I used to DJ for WGLZ at West Liberty University, and myself and a few others would play local music during our respective hours. If you want to check out some of the earlier bands that set the scene in motion, I recommend www.egoinc.org. Corey Greeneltch has a great collection of early Wheeling music.
